18 March 2024: New attack on Al Shifa Hospital started
Paragraph written by Alon Mizrahi on X 20 March: “In the past 24 hours, Israeli media reporter that 90 (!) ‘Hamas terrorists’ were terminated at Al Shifa hospital, suggesting one of the biggest massacres of this genocide is unfolding inside Gaza’s largest medical centers. In the same timeframe, all Gazan personnel responsible for delivering aid to the surviving population have been assassinated. At the same time, Netanyahu declared Gazans are ‘free to leave, perhaps vie the new port’ in a well and choreographed leak. This means Israel is hell-bent on the final destruction and annexation of Gaza, and a full ethnic cleansing of it. This also means that pressures for it to stop are growing, and this is how it responds. And it also means no concrete steps have been taken by the US to stop the Gaza holocaust. Netanyahu has not yet been declared a war criminal by anyone. But this is, surely, the greatest man-made catastrophe and war crime campaign of the 21st century”.
Update – 21 March: Day 4 of the Al-Shifa hospital attack : Israeli occupation forces have so far executed 150 young men in and around the hospital. Israeli occupation forces have kidnapped over 300 civilians from the hospital, including doctors, nurses, journalists, and patients. Three patients have passed away in the ICU units, and 22 are dying slowly due to the lack of care . The Israeli army is setting fire to homes and structures and detonating others near Al-Shifa hospital with civilians inside . The situation at Al-Shifa Hospital and its vicinity is beyond catastrophic , please share what’s happening

Report from a doctor in Al-Shifa hospital in northern #Gaza via a UN colleague:
– 50 health workers (most of them junior or volunteers) and 143 patients all kept in one building since the second day of the raid, with extremely limited food, water and only one nonfunctional toilet;
– patients are in critical condition, many lying on the floor. Three patients in need of intensive care. Two patients on life support died due to a lack of electricity;
– patients have no companions or care takers;
– no basic medical supplies, no dressing, no medicines available;
– health workers have requested urgent patient referrals. Hostilities can be heard in vicinity of the hospital. Health workers are worried about their own and their patients’ safety.
These conditions are utterly inhumane. We call for an immediate end to the siege and appeal for safe access to ensure patients get the care they need.

Al Shifa Hospital is being massacred for the sixth day in a row, and IOF announced the field execution of 170 civilians including doctors, and detained over 800 civilians, some of them were taken to israel for further investigations Also, IOF threatened patients and displaced civilians in the hospital to leave or they would bomb and demolish the hospital on their heads In addition, many corpses were seen around the hospital on the streets being eaten by dogs and cats. and the number of murdered civilians is still unclear because a lot of them are under the rubble and no one can reach them The situation requires urgent intervention from international organizations, otherwise, the massacre will continue and hundreds more innocents will be killed

Israel claims those it massacred were terrorists
Also visible were residents of surrounding homes and those in nearby shelters. After the Israeli army destroyed al-Shifa Hospital over three months ago, several buildings within the complex were turned into shelters for the displaced. Many of those whose photos appeared were displaced individuals and their families due to widespread destruction of their homes, which explains the presence of various members of Palestinian factions and government agencies among those detained.
Not to mention that some of the pictures were repeat pictures.

‘Turns Out the Israelis Lied’: Probe Dismantles IDF’s Al-Shifa Hospital Claim
“The Israeli military launched a deadly assault on Gaza’s largest hospital last month on the grounds that the facility concealed a sprawling Hamas command center.
But a detailed Washington Postinvestigation published Thursday found that the evidence Israel has presented in support of its claim “falls short” of demonstrating that Hamas used the al-Shifa Hospital Complex for any significant military operations.
U.S. President Joe Biden, who repeated the Israeli government’s claim about al-Shifa, has not released any evidence to support the assertions.
“The claims were remarkably specific—that five hospital buildings were directly involved in Hamas activities; that the buildings sat atop underground tunnels that were used by militants to direct rocket attacks and command fighters; and that the tunnels could be accessed from inside hospital wards,” the Post noted.
But the newspaper’s examination of material released by the Israel Defense Forces, satellite imagery, and open-source visuals did not turn up anything resembling the “concrete evidence” that the IDF promised.
“Turns out the Shifa hospital wasn’t a Hamas headquarters. Turns out the Israelis lied,” MSNBC‘s Mehdi Hasan wrote in response to the investigation. “Turns out the Biden administration and U.S. intelligence were wrong.”
