2 August: @IhabHassane
A disturbing video to the Christians in the West: Israeli settlers, with the support of the IDF, are forcibly removing a Christian family from their land and stealing it in Bethlehem, West Bank. Since the persecutors of Palestinian Christians are Israeli settlers, many Western Christians choose to remain indifferent and silent.

Hate crime against Christians in Israel
25 August: Alice Kisiya, a Christian Palestinian woman, explains how Israel is trying to steal her family’s land in the Wadi al-Makhrour area near Bethlehem. According to the ICJ, Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territories are unlawful and should come to an end “as rapidly as possible”. The IDF reportedly arrested Kisiya a few hours ago alongside her mother.
@MuntherIsaac
26 August: Today I visited the Kisiya family. There were forcibly expelled from their land by the Israeli military, and now they are staying in a tent outside of their land. They were attacked by settlers, and Alice the daughter was arrested, (she was released for now today). In the tent I also met Israeli activists for peace who are in solidarity with the family from Combatants For Peace, and young men from Masafir Yatta who are facing similar challenges and came as well to show solidarity. It was powerful to see Jews and Muslims in solidarity with this Christian family from Bethlehem. Please pray and advocate for this family. I took a picture of the official document that prove their ownership of the land. What the Kisiya family is facing is what we as Palestinians have been enduring for 76 years, namely: Ethnic cleansing. This is what the settler activity is all about.

1 Oct: Remember the Qaisiya family, the Christian family from Bethlehem, whose land in the Makhrour area was stolen by settlers, forcibly driving them off their own land. In an act of solidarity and resistance, activists and the Christian family built a church from wooden panels on their land. Today, Israeli forces arrived and demolished that church.
31 August: Khalil Sayegh خليل الصايغ
@KhalilJeries

An Israeli airstrike injured my sister, Fadwa, and my niece, Maria, as it targeted a house next to Saint Porphyrius church in Gaza, killing women and children from our Muslim neighbors. Saint Porphyrius church community is yet again in danger by the Israeli murderous military.
Khalil Sayigh: My nine-month-old nephew survived the attack by a miracle. He was born during this genocide, baptized, and now had to live through this near-death experience. May Christ have mercy on Christians in Gaza and all Palestinians. As Christians, we know that justice will be fulfilled, if not in this life, then in the afterlife.
13 October 2024: Elias Jilda a member of the Christian community in Gaza says we will not leave north Gaza even if they demolish our churches over our heads. We will not listen to the repeated orders of the Israeli occupiers. North Gaza has not received any food supplies since October 1st the latest war crime of food starvation
21 Dec 2024: To the people of the UK and all those celebrating #Christmas: A joint message from Rev Dr @MuntherIsaac
and H.E. Dr @hzomlot
On why they spit on Christians
The traditional Christmas Eve procession in Jerusalem to Bethlehem is usually celebratory with Christmas carols. Last year, it was silent, and local Palestinian Christians carried banners supporting Gaza and calling for a ceasefire.
@mehdirhasan quoting FT: “Every night without fail, a mobile phone rings in the Holy Family church in Gaza, and a parish priest answers. The voice at the end of the line is that of Pope Francis, head of the Catholic Church and spiritual leader to a global flock of 1.4bn people”
24 Dec 2024: Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa visited the graves of Naheda Anton and her daughter, Samar Anton, who were killed by an Israeli sniper on December 16, 2023, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gaza. Turn on the sound to hear the incessant buzz of Israeli army drones—this is the constant noise Gazan people endure 24/7.
25 Dec 2024: Despite the bombing of churches, Christians in Gaza City are trying to celebrate Christmas amid the war, with churches being turned into shelters and subjected to continuous bombardment.
25 Dec 2024: Father Antonios Hananya of the Holy Orthodox Church of Jerusalem delivered a powerful message, declaring himself both a clergyman and a freedom fighter. “If a priest must fight, just as a Muslim Sheikh defends children and women, I will go and fight myself,”. He also spoke about unity between all faiths in Palestine.
