Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta prevented from entering Germany

12 April:

British/Palestinian Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta was prevented from entering Germany for a talk he was invited to give regarding what he witnessed in Gaza. Dr. Abu Sitta is a war surgeon who was elected as Rector of the University of Glasgow.

At the airport, Dr. Abu Sitta was questioned for three hours by German police and told that he was prevented from entering the country for the entire month of April, and that if he sent his speech or zoomed in to the conference, he would be imprisoned for up to a year or more.

I am at Charles De Gaule airport. They are preventing me from entering France. I am supposed to speak at the French Senate today. They say the Germans put a 1 year ban on my entry to Europe.
