Jared Kushner has praised Gaza as a valuable “waterfront property”, and called for Israel to remove civilians before it “cleans up” the Strip in an interview at Harvard University on 8 March.
The former property dealer, Donald Trump’s son-in-law and former senior adviser said that “Gaza’s waterfront property could be very valuable … if people would focus on building up livelihoods.”
“It’s a little bit of an unfortunate situation there, but from Israel’s perspective I would do my best to move the people out and then clean it up,” he said.
“But I don’t think that Israel has stated that they don’t want the people to move back there afterwards.”
Kushner added that Israel’s priority should be expelling civilians from the southern city of Rafah and “opening up” Negev desert before moving them on to Egypt “with diplomacy”.
“I would just bulldoze something in the Negev, I would try to move people in there,” he said. “I think that’s a better option, so you can go in and finish the job.”
“I’m sitting in Miami Beach right now,” Kushner said. “And I’m looking at the situation and I’m thinking: what would I do if I was there?”
Kushner was senior foreign policy adviser under Trump and architect of the then US President’s Middle East Plan, which included normalisation deals between Israel and Gulf states.

demonic infantilism of this genocide
By Alon Mizrahi – 20 March 2024
I’m convinced there isn’t a face on earth more suitable to be the presenter of what can be aptly called the demonic infantilism of this genocide. By this term I mean not only the almost mindless, banal evil being performed and inflicted with a kind of tedious boredom, like a troubled kid setting his 100th cat on fire. I also mean the fatal absurdity of trying to force the whole world to deny what we know is true, and accept what is demonstrably, obviously false. Because
Everybody knows Israel was humiliated militarily on October 7th by Hamas (whose fighters took the time to gangrape corpses, as some pro-genociders would have you believe, which immediately makes you think that a Hamas that refrains from gangraping corpses could conquer the entirety of Israel with ease)
Everybody knows that this campaign is a terrible disaster for Israel’s image, which is forever and irrevocably destroyed in the eyes of billions of people
Everybody knows this is not a war, but a punitive mas slaughter meant to instill a kind of historical horror that is supposed to somehow make Palestinians forget they deserve a homeland, and is also supposed to make Israel a triumphant and moral mini-empire, both unattainable and idiotic causes
Everybody knows Israel is an expansionist entity, especially in its current, ultra-religious and mega-nationalist form
Everybody knows none of this would have been possible without American power being fully on the side of Israel
Everybody knows what Israel is doing is against all sense of morality and humanity
Everybody knows civilians have been and are attacked mercilessly, starved, denied medical care, sniped and put under the most extreme psychological and physical form of torture known to humanity
Everybody knows Israeli society is in deep, deep trouble, and has lost contact with reality
Everybody knows Netanyahu is a psychopath who will be remembered as one of the greatest monsters in history
Everybody knows no other ethnic group could enforce such total genocide obedience in the West except Israelis – I could go on, but the message is clear.
The common truths I have laid out here are understood to be so by the vast majority of people who have paid any attention. But in the name of truly demonic infantilism, both Israel and the US continue to pursue their morally bankrupt and anti-human strategy of just killing more and more Palestinians without any explicable strategy, without any sense, in plain sight of the whole world.
– And one more question about Jared Kushner: apart from being indigenous to Palestine, and therefore entitled to ethnically cleanse it from non-Jews, or is he also an American native? This is so confusing. Some people act like they are indigenous everywhere, while others have nowhere to be indigenous. – Just imagine what it means to be Palestinian, and having to deal not only with Israel, but also with the like of the world’s Jared Kushners.
