The lead author of an article on Gaza trauma surgery published in The Lancet yesterday has been tortured by the Israeli military and remains in custody, though his whereabouts are unconfirmed. Story in @dropsitenews

September: French nurse Imane Maarifi, who previously testified in the National Assembly about her experience in a hospital in Gaza, has been arrested this morning at her home and placed in police custody.

“There is no trace of Dr. Mohammad Khaled Al-Dardasawi, a gastroenterology and endoscopy specialist, in any Israeli prisons or detention centers.” Eight months after his abduction by Israeli army from Nasser Hospital in southern #Gaza, the family now views this message from HaMoked as an official confirmation of his killing at the hands of Israeli army. The details remain unclear, and his body has yet to be found.
