A YouTube channel named שמנמנים ונהנים, or “fatties having fun”, uploaded several videos showing Israeli soldiers setting fire from inside Palestinian homes.Another image, posted to Instagram stories on 11 of January by Hamas Hunting Club shows a detainee blindfolded and with his hands tied behind a white plastic chair. The image is captioned, “He won’t sleep well…” describing the man seen in bad conditions
An Israeli soldier from Nahal Brigade published several pictures from Gaza city on 13 Jan one of them showed him burning money seemingly looted from a Palestinian home Another soldier from the paratroopers brigade in Khan Younis published on 24 Feb about his brazen theft
Same soldier from New York, in one of the videos he is seen throwing money on detained and another poisoning a well
A soldier from New York serving in the 9213 battalion, Kfir brigade, which operates mainly in North West Bank, describes himself as an American documenting his journey in the IDF.
In a special shocking incident Israeli soldiers are seen planting bombs inside UNRWA Beit Hanoun medical clinic. Israeli army did not claim to have found any evidence of militant presence or tunnels under or inside the clinic whatsoever.

On 4 January, an Israeli sergeant-major from the Givati Brigade posted a story to his Instagram page showing the destruction of what appears to be the Minaret of a mosque. He captioned the video, in English, “THINGS TO DO WHEN THE CREW IS BORED IN A TANK IN GAZA ”
On December 22, a soldier from the parachute battalion in Khan Younis area, posted a photo on his social media account posing next to a block of residential housing on fire. In the same post, he included a video that shows him mocking the Muslim call to prayer on loud speakersOn 2 January, an IDF soldier in the Nahal Brigade posted a video showing soldiers elated at the destruction of a home by a bulldozer near the Burej Refugee Camp
On December 14, another soldier posted multiple images showing himself and other soldiers torching a beach resort in Gaza city
In an disturbing case, an Israeli military officer with a rank of a captain from the 8176 Battalion posted on her personal account what she described as destroying an entire neighbourhood where three of her soldiers were killed as a revenge.
A paratrooper in Khan Younis posted a portrait of himself with # “f*ckgaza” on 7 December, a day later he posted a video compilation containing an image of himself posing with a presumably looted bicycle and including a video of structures being destroyed by bulldozers

In a Feb 14 Facebook post, a sergant from the Netsach Yehuda battalion in the West Bank wrote, “There is no mercy for the cruel! To continue until we fulfil the mitzvah to eliminate the seed of Amalek! To destroy them forever”
Among the most notable footage of destruction is a video featured in a December 26, 2023 video posted on TikTok by a Lt. Colonel of the 924th Combat Engineering Corps, Harel Brigade. The video shows multiple scenes of military operations in Beit Hanoun, a town in the northern Gaza Strip. The video was posted two days after the Israeli army withdrew from the area on December 24, 2023. The video lasts for four and a half minutes and contains multiple scenes of residential neighbourhoods and houses being demolished. Edited in are clips from Al Jazeera, where local residents described the aftermath of the operation as “a ghost town” and “an earthquake”
During an article The GreyZone worked at, a fellow journo sent to the Israeli military a request for comment on social media posts by their soldiers incl tweet below. They replied “it will been put under review”. Now after 2 week, same Israeli soldier in Hebron published this yesterday [6 March]
“That’s what the war is about” An American in the Israeli military posted a video where he can be seen proudly displaying temple mount patches all over his uniform. He says that this is what they are fighting for Calling for the destruction of al-Aqsa Mosque compound
