Meta employees publish an open letter to management (see below) to show how meta has promoted the genocide. This is how the suppression happens.
First, the letter:
You can’t fix what you don’t listen to. Meta shutting down internal conversation means they can’t fix their bias.
Meta leadership is extremely biased. Sheryl Sandberg is doing a film tour, promoting false propaganda which enables Israel’s genocide. Zuck gave money to propagandists Zaka, and Meta’s most senior policy person was in the IDF and lives in Tel Aviv. Nothing says unbiased like deleting all the posts in Muslim and Palestinian groups. What does leadership do? Ignore, dismiss.Unsurprisingly, leadership also fails to respond to years of suppression of Palestinian voices.
Also unsurprisingly, Meta lied – they was fully aware of censorship and bias of Palestinian content, despite denying it publicly.
