If you’re starting to feel hopeless, remember this: The whole world is working against you. And it’s no exaggeration. The newsrooms – all of them – work around the clock to tell you you don’t exist.
They work tirelessly, every single day of this, so that you won’t know that people are demonstrating and protesting all over the world.
They do all they can to drown you in out-of-place, disorienting nonsense, and put a constant cloud of confusion before you, and doubt in you. They are working to make us feel like we’re looking in a mirror, and seeing no one there. This is what they do.
This is what they are for.
And governments add an ominous warning to this: beware of existing. Don’t dare make your conscience visible.
But you are there, and you are very real. And so am I. And so are millions and millions of people watching this, talking, demonstrating. The algorithms work to separate us, and make us oblivious of one another.
They want society to feel atomized, and individuals to feel the same way: unsure, ever in doubt, increasingly prone to despair, hooked on their stupid messages for any assurance.
– You need to remember who you are and what you stand for. This is the most important thing. If you have this, you won’t be bothered by what the rest of the world thinks. This thing will come together. We need to be strong, and we need to be patient.
– A huge, huge operation is working in full swing to break us, make us doubt ourselves, turn our gaze inward, and focus on our weakness and ineffectiveness. Your mission, much of it, is to never agree to this.
– There is one child in Gaza your resolve can save. Just one. Think of him, or her. This will give you strength.
This is what I do. There is one child my not despairing can save, and I am never letting that child down.
Also remember this
Dear corporate civic polite America: it is over for you.
Having seen a slew of videos like this one, I’m happy to inform you:
The students won’t shut up anywhere on campuses
Workers won’t shut up in unions
Truck drivers and taxi drivers won’t shut up on the road and in the streets
High-tech engineers will never shut up in San Francisco, New York or anywhere else
High schoolers will not shut up in class or recess, and their parents won’t shut up in PTA or on social media
Teachers will definitely not shut up
Military men and women won’t shut up on and off uniform
Shopkeepers, baristas, technicians, lab workers, medical staff, workers in fast food chains and department stores, hotels, museums, cinemas, car dealerships and everything else will not shut up to customers or management
You will never have a quiet town hall or fundraiser ever again.
Personally, I think you will never have a quiet lecture about anything again. And soon you will not have a quiet family dinner, too.
You will never have a supporter-enabler of genocide speaking anywhere to a quiet and obedient audience ever again.
If you want to keep on genociding, you will have to micro-enforce genocide compliance a million times a day. The age of quiet, polite genocides is over for you, Americ. Brace yourself for many, many years of this.
Glory to the disrupters of quiet, polite genocides
