Rafah/Gaza before Oct 7th

In 2003, we gave a 17 year old named Mohammed a camera, and he documented each and every massacre and each and every incursion every single day and we posted it on a website called Rafah Today with his explanation and in his own words. We did not edit even his English. The site continued until 2016. We are now reposting this entire site which had been offline for several years, only to respond to people who claim this all started on Oct 7th.

You will see Rachel Corrie, Tom Hundall and many other stories you may have heard of. You will see the level of destruction that led to the rise of Hamas in 2006, and you will see Mohammed’s post following the election of Hamas. You will see deaths, injuries and destruction pretty much the same as is happening today – with incursion after incursion. Huda Ghalia, now all grown up, narrates the horror of that one sunny day on the beach in Gaza
Israeli snipers shot another ISM activist in the head. Tom Hundall from Manchester Britain remained in critical condition and was taken helicopter from Europa Hospital in Khan Younis to a hospital in Bir Sheva. He was 22 years old. He died soon after. Tom was helping children cross the street and shielding them from snipers when he himself was fatally shot.
