Fady Baker is a Palestinian civilian who specializes in human rights law. On January 5th, 2024 he was taken hostage by the Israeli Occupation Forces and spent his next 45 days at the Sde Teiman detention facility. Listen to the horrors he experienced there.

Fady Baker specialises in human rights law. In January, he was shot multiple times by the IOF and left to bleed for hours. Then he was kidnapped to #SdeTeiman prison, yes, the one where today, Zionist protested defending torturers.

In the prison he was shot again, electrocuted and placed in what’s known as “the disco room”, where prisoners are stripped naked and forced to wear headphones blasting music so loud they cause ears to bleed. Horrors he suffered include being forced to lay next to a decomposed body and watch a dog rape another, as guards beat both men with glee. Prisoners were also raped to death by electrocuting sticks.

His injuries forced him to undergo surgery. He asked the doctor for anaesthetic but not only was this rejected, he was beaten by a guard while being treated.
