Asel and Assil were 4 day old twins. Their father, Hamad Abul Qomsan went to issue their birth certificate. He returned to find them murdered together with their mother, Jumana. The family had been displaced from Northern Gaza to Deir El Balah where they sought shelter. They were bombed on August 13th.
Israel is capable of precision strikes when it chooses. The precision strike detailed in the video below targeted two newborn infants and their mother, and their grandmother. The mother had previously posted on FB about how she witnessed the IDF shooting children in the head.
The killing of Jumana and her two newborn twin babies in Gaza yesterday was especially painful for us at HEAL Palestine because we were involved in supporting her to have a safe delivery over the past several months. There needs to be an immediate ceasefire to stop the daily killing of innocent women and children in #Gaza and the start of peace negotiations
