War Crime | A Child Alone at the Netsarim Checkpoint at Midnight! What’s his story? This child’s name is unknown, and so are his parents. The Israeli occupation army released him after midnight at the Netsarim checkpoint (the checkpoint separating northern and southern Gaza). He was spotted by displaced people on the road, and they called an ambulance. “When he saw the water bottle with the displaced people, he ran towards it,” said the paramedic. When asked for his name, he only stared in shock, not uttering a single word. When he refused to speak, they gave him a paper to draw on (first comment). He drew a soldier and a prison! The only thing left in the child’s memory was the image of a prison and a soldier! What is the point of detaining a child, subjecting him to torture and malnutrition by the Israeli occupation army?

A will found beneath the rubble of Rasha, a child only 10 years old, who was killed by the Israeli army in #Gaza: “Please don’t cry for me, as it would make me sad. I hope my clothes can go to those in need, and my accessories to Rahaf, Lana, and Batool. The bead boxes should go to Batool. As for my monthly allowance of 50 shekels, I want half to go to Rahaf and the other half to Ahmad. I’d like Batool to have my toys. Lastly, please don’t shout at my brother Ahmad. Please follow these wishes.”
Dr. Mustafa Elmasri: Many children seen by our counselors in Gazs reported they have written their will, giving the little that they own to sibs and the poor.
