When asked what he will do about Gaza, Trump explained that Israel is tiny and they need to expand in the Middle East. This is a green-light to Israel to continue its attacks on Palestinians as well as in neighboring countries. Now Israel is on a deadly rampage throughout the West Bank, having demolished Jenin and moving on to other towns, camps and villages.
4 Feb 2025: Trump admin asks congress to approve $1 billion in arms sales to Israel.

“We do not have a homeland other than Palestine…we are not looking for other homelands…there is no power on earth that can remove the Palestinian people from our ancestral land.”

Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur oPt
As I seem to be shadowbanned, I repeat: The “riviera plan” for Gaza is nonsense, which nonetheless must be taken very seriously. President Trump has basically declared his intention to commit the int’l crime of forced displacement and resort to unlawful use of force against the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination, in violation of the UN Charter – amounting to aggression. The 191 members of the UN who still have an interest in protecting themselves from this madness, better recover from their paralysis and stand united against this imperialist lawlessness. PS: In any case, this plan won’t work. How do I know? 76 years of failed attempts by Israel, including 16 months of genocidal assault. Indigenous people do not leave their land.

The Palestinian people are not illegal immigrants, I told @Channel4News
last night. We are in our homeland, and we are not going anywhere. We the Palestinians have been subjected to a war of extermination for a 100 years. We resisted and we will remain. Link to full interview https://youtube.com/watch?v=_dzxbLBwk2Y

6 Feb 2025: @Israel_katz, Israel’s minister of defense: “I have instructed the IDF to prepare a plan that will allow any resident of Gaza who wishes to leave to do so, to any country willing to receive them. Hamas has used the residents of Gaza as human shields, built its terror infrastructure in the heart of the civilian population, and now holds them hostage—extorting money from them through the humanitarian aid system and preventing their departure from Gaza. The plan will include exit options via land crossings, as well as special arrangements for departure by sea and air. Countries such as Spain, Ireland, Norway, and others, which have falsely accused Israel over its actions in Gaza, are legally obligated to allow Gazans to enter their territory. Their hypocrisy will be exposed if they refuse. Meanwhile, countries like Canada, which has a structured immigration program, have previously expressed willingness to take in residents from Gaza. The people of Gaza should have the right to freedom of movement and migration, as is customary everywhere in the world. I welcome President @realDonaldTrump bold initiative, which can create extensive opportunities for those in Gaza who wish to leave, assist them in resettling in host countries, and support long-term reconstruction efforts in a demilitarized, threat-free Gaza after Hamas—an effort that will take many years.@PeteHegseth @marcorubio“
