24 Feb 2024: PRed Crescent: PCHR expresses its shock at the killing of our second colleague, Dana Yaghi, as Israel continues to commit genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Dana, lawyer at the Womens’ Rights Unit, was murdered on 22 February along 40 others, the majority of whom are from her family, by an Israeli airstrike on Yaghi family’s house in Deir Al- Balah. This tragic event comes two days after #Israeli warplanes killed our colleague Nour Abu Nour along seven members of her family, including her two-years-old daughter. Our hearts are saddened by the loss of Dana and Nour, and our thoughts and prayers are with their loved ones. May their beautiful souls rest in peace.
24 Feb 2024: Aya Al-Mughari and her friend Ala’a Al-Mughari from Gaza City. They were the same age and very close friends. They loved dresses, flowers, and cooking toys. They loved to wear nail polish, put on crowns, and pretend they were princesses. Israel killed them while they were playing together.
