What if this was my last piece of writing?

What if this was my last piece of writing, would it make any difference?

Death is so close to us, much more than you can imagine. We can see it, smell it, hear it, feel it, and perhaps touch it. “Stay safe” doesn’t mean anything anymore as there is no safety here anymore. I am not sure if you still wanna hear me, but we are not numbers and we have never been.

We are the Sons of Pain and the Friends of Humanity. We are the story of a land, and the novel of freedom.

We are the verse from the Old Testament and the light from the New Testament.

We are the Palestinians, we are the indigenous, and we are the salt of this land.

If anyone of you becomes a historian one day , then he/she has to write about the dignity we had, the pride we had and about the unshakable faith in our cause we had.

Last but not least, I would like to quote from the poet who said: ” They deeply realize that the memory of the land distinguishes the scent of the passersby and who they are”. Don’t forget us, remember our stories and tales, light candles for us whenever you can, and publish novels and poems about us and our dreams, because even if we are all gone, this land still needs you.

“The War’s Curse” War has many faces.

If you passed the threshold of physical death in it, you may be afflicted with the curse of grief over the loss, the curse of the humiliation of living, or the curse of the mental pain that accompanies you in every word and moment. After that, the war leaves you with a legacy, which is “The Curse of The Days”.

I am a resident doctor at AlAqsa hospital who works in 24-hour shifts with a few hours rest in between. I have been tirelessly working since the beginning of the genøcide without a salary.

Our people are in dire need of us at this time, and we have not hesitated to provide service to them despite the extent of the pain and challenges we are experiencing.

Together, we share the same suffering and the same fate. Y

our help is not only for a doctor from Gaza, but for an entire people who have been suffering for a long time. Your support for Gaza’s doctors means our continuity in serving our people with pride and dignity.
